Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments, including intake interviews and mental status examinations, to gain a comprehensive understanding of clients’ needs and backgrounds.
• Develop tailor-made treatment plans with clear therapeutic goals, adjusting strategies based on ongoing client evaluations and progress.
• Provide evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address various mental health conditions.
• Monitor and document client progress meticulously in accordance with ethical standards and legal guidelines, using a secure electronic health record system.
• Offer teletherapy services to ensure accessibility for clients facing geographical or physical barriers.
• Participate in regular supervision and consultation meetings, promoting shared learning and continuous professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse clientele who may be experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders. Our clients vary in age, socioeconomic backgrounds, and cultural experiences, providing an enriching environment for mental health practice. Your role will be pivotal in nurturing a supportive atmosphere where clients feel safe to explore their challenges and work towards recovery.

Qualifications

• A current, valid license in New York as an LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.
• A strong foundation in empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to care.
• Effective organizational and time-management abilities to handle a varied caseload effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a community health or private practice setting is desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth technologies and online therapeutic interventions.
• Experience in working with underserved populations is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

You will receive competitive compensation within the range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and varying caseloads.
