Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments, utilizing various tools and techniques to evaluate clients' mental health needs and challenges.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address specific goals geared towards the personal growth and well-being of clients.
• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions using diverse therapeutic modalities tailored to clients' unique situations, including trauma-informed care for those dealing with past experiences.
• Set specific therapeutic goals, continuously monitoring and evaluating clients' progress throughout their treatment journey.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation consistent with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clientele served at Gila River Health System predominantly includes individuals struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, and a variety of other mental health issues. Counselors will work with diverse populations including adults, adolescents, and families, adapting therapeutic approaches to fit the needs of each unique client. Qualifications

• A current and valid independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A relevant Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Demonstrated proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills, essential for establishing trust and rapport with clients.
• Exhibit empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to client interactions.
• Possess organizational and time-management capabilities to effectively manage caseloads.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a private practice setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and relevant technologies.
• Expertise in cognitive-behavioral therapies, dialectical behavior therapy, and trauma-informed care approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and case management responsibilities.
