Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify clients’ mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment strategies.
• Create and implement tailored evidence-based treatment plans that align with each client’s unique goals and preferences.
• Provide individual, couples, and group counseling sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic strategies and interventions as appropriate.
• Engage actively with interdisciplinary treatment teams to ensure comprehensive, holistic care is delivered to clients.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and confidential client records, adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in ongoing clinical supervision, case discussions, and professional development initiatives to enhance your therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client base that includes individuals struggling with mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related conditions, and addiction. Our approach is centered on understanding each client's unique background and circumstances, which enables us to provide tailored treatment solutions. Additionally, clients may require support through individual therapy or in a group setting, fostering community and peer support.

Qualifications

• A valid LMHC license in the state of Florida is required.
• Possession of a Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience in providing both individual and group therapy, specifically within mental health contexts.
• Strong grasp of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, as well as an ability to apply them effectively in your practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• A strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining client confidentiality.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or somatic therapy is advantageous.
• Ability to work with clients who face complex clinical challenges, including but not limited to co-occurring disorders.
• A background in community health practices would be beneficial.
