Golisano Childrens Hospital - Lee Health is seeking Licensed Pediatric Psychologists for our Naples location!
Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida is a state-of-the-art pediatric facility that delivers vital and lifesaving care for children and their families throughout the region. The 135 bed regional hospital cares for children across five counties and is the only childrens hospital between Tampa and Miami. Golisano provides a variety of specialized services for our communitys children ranging from emergency care to behavioral health, surgery to critical care, orthopedics, cancer treatment, cardiology, and more. It has a 16 bed PICU, 70 bed NICU with 24-hour in-house Neonatology coverage.
Lee Health is a non-profit organization comprised of more than 16,000 employees, 4,500 volunteers, and more than 1,200 employed primary care and specialty providers with over 100 practice locations throughout Southwest Florida. The organization has 4 acute care hospitals and 2 specialty hospitals that together house over 1,800 hospital beds.
Position Information:
Lee Health - Lee Physician Groups Pediatric Behavioral Health in Naples is seeking multiple full-time Licensed Psychologists!The psychologists will provide evidence-based outpatient treatment to children, adolescents, young adults, and families from ages 5 to 21. Common presenting concerns include sleep disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., ADHD and Motor), anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, suicidal Ideation/self-harm, feeding/eating disorders (e.g., ARFID and anorexia nervosa), somatic symptom disorders (e.g., functional neurological disorder), disruptive/impulse control disorders (e.g., ODD), and trauma disorders (e.g., adjustment disorder and PTSD).
Responsibilities:
Standardized assessment of cognitive, executive, social, emotional, and/or behavioral functioning
Evidence-based treatment modalities in individual, family, and/or group formats based on diagnostics
Crisis management and safety planning
Collaboration with other health professionals
Care coordination with schools
Education outreach in the community
Qualifications:
Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA accredited doctorate program with completion of an APA accredited internship in counseling, school, or clinical psychology.
1-year post-doctoral training under supervision of a licensed psychologist
Strong practice of evidence-based assessment and treatment including diagnostic interview, standardized measures, conceptualization, diagnostic impressions, interventions, and interprofessional collaboration
Multicultural training and competencies
Licensed or licensed-eligible in the state of Florida
