As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Greater County Counseling Services, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations for clients to formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
• Facilitating individual, family, and group therapy sessions to address a variety of emotional and psychological challenges.
• Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engaging in continuous professional development through workshops and training to remain updated on the latest advancements in mental health care.

Our practice serves a diverse array of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. Many of our clients may have historically encountered barriers to accessing care, making it essential for our counselors to provide compassionate and culturally relevant support tailored to each individual's experience. The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience within a clinical setting.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of establishing rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and relevant technologies to enhance practice efficiency.

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse treatment, or trauma-informed care.
• Experience working with underserved populations or in community mental health settings is highly desirable.

The salary range for this role is competitive, with an annual income between USD 70,000 and 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload. Our benefits package includes:
