  • Develop, implement, and periodically revise personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, healing, and resilience.
  • Provide specialized therapeutic interventions, employing methodologies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through their trauma processing journeys while equipping them with effective coping mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and fellow mental health professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care, facilitating integrated treatment plans.

  • Participate in case consultations, professional development activities, and team meetings focused on improving trauma-informed care practices.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to continually enhance service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist will focus specifically on individuals who have experienced significant trauma, such as survivors of abuse, accidents, or other distressing life events. Through tailored therapeutic approaches, you will support clients in navigating their healing processes and regaining control over their lives.

Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in providing therapeutic services, particularly focused on trauma-informed care.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions that foster resilience and recovery.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to patient care.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations, maintaining a stable environment for clients.
  • Technical proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant software applications.
  • A collaborative spirit to function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Comprehensive healthcare benefits to support your well-being.
