Are you on the lookout for a new and exciting opportunity? Kasey Osman Insurance is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to be the first friendly voice our prospective clients hear. This is a high-energy, phone-forward role focused on working warm leads, qualifying prospects, and transferring opportunities to our Licensed Sales Producers.


To us, sales are about more than just closing. We aim to make a difference. Insurance can be daunting, and our clients deserve to be fully protected and have peace of mind. Your job is to connect with people, understand what they're looking for, and get them in front of a Licensed Sales Producer who can take care of them. Like any sales position, you will have targets to meet. To thrive in this role, you need a hunter mentality, tenacity, and a genuine passion for people.


This is a pre-licensed role. No insurance license is required to start. If you're a self-starter, competitive, coachable, and have big dreams, this is an excellent launching pad into the insurance industry, with a clear path toward becoming a Licensed Sales Producer if that's your goal.

Responsibilities
  • Join daily team huddles to align with the team and set the tone for the day.
  • Make a high volume of outbound calls to warm leads provided by the agency.
  • Respond quickly to inbound leads from our website, marketing campaigns, and referrals.
  • Persuade prospects to talk with a Licensed Sales Producer and explore their options.
  • Gather information to build accurate customer profiles and keep the CRM clean.
  • Transfer hot leads and set qualified appointments for the sales team.
  • Participate in regular training and coaching to sharpen your sales skills.
  • Meet with your manager as needed to discuss anything you'd like to work on.
  • Represent Kasey Osman Insurance positively by always doing what's right for the client.

Requirements
  • Must be based in the United States of America
  • No insurance license or prior experience required. We'll train you.
  • Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls daily.
  • Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Resilient, competitive, and motivated by hitting goals.
  • A self-starter who communicates respectfully, carries themselves with integrity, and holds themselves accountable.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail in a CRM.
  • Comfortable learning new technology (dialers, CRMs, rating tools).
  • Previous phone sales, SDR, call center, telemarketing, or customer-facing experience preferred.
  • Experience in insurance, financial services, real estate, or another relationship-driven sales environment is a plus.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
  • Interest in eventually becoming a Licensed Sales Producer. We'll support you through licensing.
