Job description

Analyst1 is an industry-leading cybersecurity solution provider that specializes in advanced threat intelligence. Automated data ingestion and investigations transform security operations through superior threat analysis that also analyzes the effectiveness of countermeasures in a single platform.

About the role

As a Sales Development Rep, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our cutting-edge threat intelligence solution by generating new business opportunities. As part of a mission-driven team in a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry, you will collaborate closely with sales and marketing to identify, engage, and qualify key decision-makers within target organizations. Your efforts will directly contribute to expanding our market presence and solidifying our position as a leader in cybersecurity.

What you'll do
  • Lead Generation & Outreach: Proactively research, target, and engage potential clients in industries that would benefit from our Threat Intelligence Platform, including direct outreach through calls, emails, and social media platforms.
  • Market Research & Segmentation: Identify and understand key market segments, including SMBs, enterprise-level businesses, and specific verticals that are at high risk for cyber threats and in need of cutting-edge security solutions.
  • Qualify Leads: Engage with prospects to understand their cybersecurity challenges, assess their needs, and qualify them for the next steps in the sales process by passing high-quality leads to the Account Executives.
  • Collaborate with Sales Team: Work closely with the sales team to schedule demos and meetings, ensuring a smooth transition and effective follow-up from initial contact to deal closure.
  • Build Relationships: Build strong, lasting relationships with potential clients by educating them on our solutions, providing thought leadership on cybersecurity best practices, and offering valuable insights into how our solutions can help mitigate their security risks.
  • Manage Pipeline : Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage leads, track outreach efforts, and update the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Achieve Targets : Meet and exceed lead generation and qualification goals, while contributing to the overall growth of the sales pipeline and revenue targets.
  • Grow Into the Role: Partner directly with your manager on messaging, persona playbooks, and call strategy as the outbound function scales — with a clear path toward an Account Executive role as you build pipeline track record.
What you'll bring
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, ideally in the cybersecurity or tech space (1-2 years preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with C-suite executives and decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet or exceed KPIs and sales targets.
  • Genuine curiosity about cybersecurity and willingness to learn threat intelligence concepts (ATT&CK framework, threat actor TTPs) well enough to speak credibly with technical buyers.
  • Experience using CRM tools and sales prospecting platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, etc.)
  • Experience with a variety of prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to streamline workflows, identify leads, and improve outreach effectiveness
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Bonus if you have
  • Prior experience as BDR or SDR in Cyber Security space.
