Job description

Overview

As a Lead Implementation Consultant, you are the "Player-Coach" responsible for the technical success and operational velocity of your implementation squad. While you continue to manage a curated portfolio of Intuit Enterprise Suite (IES) deployments, your primary impact is scaled through the mentorship, technical escalation, and quality assurance you provide to fellow Implementation Consultants.

This role is designed as a strategic bridge: it offers a clear path toward Service Delivery Leadership (M1) for those who enjoy coaching, or toward Senior IC/Architecture for those who prefer solving the most complex technical puzzles.

Responsibilities

  • Squad Technical Leadership: Serve as the first point of technical escalation for Implementation Consultants (ICs) facing configuration or data migration roadblocks.
  • Reduced Portfolio Execution: Directly manage a 50% load of standard to mid-complexity IES implementations, maintaining a "front-line" perspective to better support the team.
  • Quality Assurance (QA) & Readiness: Conduct "Go-Live Readiness" reviews for squad members to ensure all deployments meet IES standards for Time-to-Value (TTV) and Feature Adoption.
  • Technical Onboarding & Mentorship: Lead the technical "flight school" for new hires, providing shadowing opportunities and hands-on training on multi-entity setup and advanced reporting.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 6+ years in software implementation or technical consulting, with at least 2 years of proven success within the IES or a similar ERP/accounting environment.
  • Accounting Mastery: Deep understanding of multi-entity accounting principles, consolidated reporting, and intercompany transfers.
  • Leadership Aptitude: Previous experience mentoring peers, leading project workstreams, or acting as a "Lead" in a high-growth environment.
  • Product Expertise: Advanced certification in QuickBooks Online or IES, with a tenacious drive to find workarounds for complex customer challenges.
  • Communication: Ability to translate complex technical blockers into actionable steps for the team and concise updates for the M2 Senior Manager
