• Conduct thorough client assessments to uncover social, emotional, and psychological needs, crafting individualized care plans that align with each client’s goals.
• Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy, to guide clients through their challenges.
• Develop and promote service plans that empower clients, integrating essential resources and strategies to facilitate positive life changes.
• Act as a staunch advocate for clients, focusing on their rights and access to essential resources, while championing vital social justice causes that resonate within the community.
• Engage actively in the development, evaluation, and reporting of programs, contributing insights that enhance our service offerings and community impact.
• Collaborate with local organizations, public health agencies, and volunteers to strengthen our support networks and optimize the services provided to clients.
• Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and community outreach activities, sharing invaluable insights and learning from peers to better our collective work.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Goshen Medical Center, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including families and individuals from various backgrounds striving for stability amid life’s challenges. This may include supporting those experiencing mental health issues, socioeconomic struggles, trauma, and other significant life transitions. Your role is pivotal in helping them navigate these complexities, equipping them with tools and resources for improved mental well-being and social functionality.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, ensuring a solid foundation in clinical practices.
• An active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Texas, reflecting your commitment to professional standards and ethical practices.
• Proficient understanding of trauma-informed care, advocacy, and community resources that can aid in client referrals and support.
• Exceptional communication skills, demonstrating empathy and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.

• Previous work experience in a nonprofit setting or comparable environment that involves advocacy-focused social work.

• Familiarity with community-based resources and support networks in Houston that can enhance client care.

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
