Vision Works Youth Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our compassionate team in providing essential mental health services. • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of clients to identify their emotional, mental, and social needs, particularly focusing on individuals facing substance detoxification.
• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families, ensuring that their specific goals and preferences are addressed.
• Provide counseling and emotional support to clients, assisting them in navigating the complexities of detoxification and other life transitions.
• Advocate for clients, ensuring they have access to necessary community resources and services that enhance their recovery process.
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, implementing strategies that enhance client outcomes during detox and beyond.
• Conduct regular virtual check-ins with clients to monitor their progress, address concerns promptly, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate families about available resources and support groups that can aid in the healing process and enhance their overall quality of life.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
• Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in social work, particularly in the fields of addiction and mental health.

This position focuses on a diverse range of clients, primarily seniors and adults dealing with substance use challenges, emotional distress, and the effects of mental health issues. • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Valid, current state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• Solid understanding of aging-related issues, social work principles, and available community resources to better serve our client base.
• Proficient in assessments, counseling techniques, and intervention strategies that support the recovery process.
• Empathetic nature paired with strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and families.
• Effective communication skills, allowing for clear collaboration and coordination with team members across various disciplines.
• Competence in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiar with telehealth modalities.

• Experience within a detox or addiction treatment facility is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of the latest trends in mental health treatment, particularly concerning trauma-informed care.
• Proficiency in managing crisis situations and providing necessary support to clients at critical moments.
