Position: Local Counsel Attorney – Federal District Court Filings (Remote / Contract)
Payment: $350 flat fee per case assignment.
THE FEDERAL APPEALS FIRM™ is seeking attorneys admitted to practice in one or more federal district courts to assist with federal court filings and local counsel responsibilities in Social Security disability appeals.
We are currently seeking attorneys admitted in the following jurisdictions:
Alabama (Northern District), California, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia (Southern District), Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Washington State.
About the Firm
Konoski & Partners, P.C. d/b/a THE FEDERAL APPEALS FIRM™ is a law firm focused exclusively on Social Security disability cases at the federal district court level. Our practice is dedicated to federal appellate advocacy and representation throughout the United States.
Position Overview
This is a remote, contract-based local counsel position. Attorneys in this role will work collaboratively with firm counsel in connection with filings and procedural requirements in federal district courts where local counsel participation is required or preferred.
Compensation
$350 flat fee per case assignment.
Qualifications
• Admission to practice in one or more applicable federal district courts listed above
• Ability to maintain compliance with applicable local court rules and procedures
• Familiarity with CM/ECF filing systems preferred
• Strong professional communication and responsiveness
Responsibilities
• Filing notices of appearance and other documents consistent with local court rules
• Assisting with electronic filing of pleadings, motions, briefs, and related filings through CM/ECF
• Serving as local counsel in accordance with applicable federal and local rules
• Communicating with firm counsel regarding filing requirements and procedural matters
This position is intended for attorneys seeking flexible, supplemental contract-based legal work.
