Position Summary:
Boot Factory Outlet is growing, and we have an exciting opportunity to join our team! We are looking for a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator who can help bring our brand, products, and personality to life across our social media platforms.
We're looking for someone who doesn't just use social media-they understand what makes people stop scrolling, watch, engage, and share. The right person will bring fresh ideas, creativity, and energy to our social media presence while also having the organization and attention to detail needed to consistently represent our brand across multiple platforms and store locations.
The Social Media Coordinator will manage the day-to-day execution of our social media presence and content strategy. Working closely with the Marketing Coordinator, this position will help plan, create, capture, schedule, and publish engaging content that showcases our products, promotions, people, and store locations while building stronger connections with our customers.
Occasional travel to store locations, company events, or other locations may be required for content creation and marketing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Social Media & Content Creation
  • Manage the day-to-day activity of company social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
  • Create engaging and on-brand content, including posts, graphics, photos, videos, Stories, Reels, TikToks, and other short-form content.
  • Develop, organize, and maintain a consistent social media content calendar.
  • Write creative, engaging, and on-brand captions and social media copy.
  • Schedule and publish content across multiple social media platforms.
  • Capture photo and video content featuring products, employees, customers, retail locations, events, promotions, and other brand-related activities.
  • Monitor comments, direct messages, tags, mentions, and customer engagement and respond appropriately and professionally.
  • Help maintain a consistent brand voice, visual identity, and messaging across all social platforms.
  • Monitor social media performance and prepare basic reports on engagement, reach, growth, and content performance.
  • Identify which types of content generate the strongest engagement and help recommend future content opportunities.
  • Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, trending audio, hashtags, and emerging content opportunities.
  • Assist with promoting store events, hiring events, product launches, promotions, and other company initiatives through social media.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator and store teams to identify opportunities for fresh and engaging content.

Administrative & Marketing Support:
Provide occasional administrative support to the Marketing Coordinator and company leadership.
Assist with organizing digital marketing files, documents, photos, videos, and other creative assets.
Assist with basic data entry, spreadsheets, reporting, and record keeping.
Create and prepare flyers, documents, promotional materials, and other marketing pieces using Canva, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools.
Monitor and respond to appropriate emails and inquiries received through the company website.
Assist with company events, promotional activities, and other marketing initiatives as needed.
Perform other marketing and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience managing business social media accounts and creating digital content.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Reels, Stories, and short-form video content.
  • Creative eye for visual content, branding, photography, and presentation.
  • Comfortable photographing and filming people, products, events, and retail environments.
  • Experience editing short-form video and photo content.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar creative tools is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including excellent spelling, grammar, and attention to detail.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, social platforms, and store locations simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage priorities while also collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing social media trends and content needs.
  • Retail, fashion, western lifestyle, footwear, or multi-location business experience is a plus.

Preferred Skills:
-Photography and/or basic videography experience.
-Experience creating Reels, TikToks, Stories, and other short-form video content.
