• Conduct teletherapy sessions with a focus on individuals, couples, and families experiencing grief and loss associated with hospice care.
• Assess client needs thoroughly and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific situations and goals.
• Employ evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques to support clients in navigating their emotional challenges.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the hospice team to ensure cohesive and holistic patient care.
• Engage in regular supervision and training sessions to enhance clinical skills and stay updated with best practices in the field.

Your primary focus will be on clients who are at various stages of hospice care, including individuals and families coping with terminal illness. Understanding the complex emotional needs of this population is crucial. You will provide valuable support in grief counseling and end-of-life transitions, empowering clients to process their feelings and cultivate resilience during a challenging time.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid LCSW-C license in the state of Maryland.
• Strong clinical skills with an understanding of mental health issues, particularly those relevant to hospice and palliative care.
• Proficient in utilizing telehealth technologies to conduct therapy sessions remotely.
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and cultural competence when working with diverse populations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective interactions with clients and team members.

• Experience providing teletherapy services specifically within a hospice or palliative care setting is preferred.
• Previous work with grief counseling and loss support is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and other practice management software.
