Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality counseling and psychotherapy services, actively engaging patients and clients in therapeutic sessions, while ensuring a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
  • Develop individualized, comprehensive treatment plans by assessing clients’ needs and collaborating with them to set measurable goals for their therapeutic journey.
  • Advocate fiercely for clients, assisting them in navigating social services and connecting them with essential resources, such as housing support or financial aid, that can alleviate barriers to care.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention to clients experiencing acute mental health crises, such as suicidal ideation or severe trauma reactions, employing effective de-escalation techniques.
  • Contribute to community mental health awareness initiatives aimed at educating the public and dispelling stigma surrounding mental health challenges.
  • Consistently maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of treatment plans and client progress notes, adhering to HIPAA regulations and state and federal guidelines.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and mentorship, utilizing feedback to enhance both clinical skills and personal growth.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve range from individuals facing anxiety and depression to families dealing with complex emotional issues related to illness and loss. Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program, ensuring a robust foundation in therapeutic practices.
  • Current Maryland License (LCSW-C) with the ability to practice independently, demonstrating your qualification to provide clinical therapy.
