This role operates in a climate-controlled remote work setting that requires daily interaction with healthcare professionals and other clinicians. Although this position is remote, our staff connects frequently through video calls, ensuring a cohesive team environment.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with mental health concerns related to cancer diagnoses, using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) as a guide.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that take into account the unique cultural, emotional, and social needs of each patient and their families.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness by utilizing evidence-based practices, making necessary adjustments to plans to optimize patient outcomes.
• Accurately prepare and maintain all treatment records and clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Facilitate collaborative care by engaging with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop holistic and effective care plans.
• Support patient safety and symptom management through proactive interventions and crisis management strategies.
• Provide guidance and education to trainees, students, and interns in clinical practices and supportive care, fostering a culture of learning and development.
• Engage in peer reviews and team-based clinical discussions to further enhance the skills and efficacy of the group.

This position focuses primarily on individuals and families who are navigating the challenges associated with cancer diagnoses and treatments. The LCSW will provide therapeutic support that addresses both the psychological and situational impacts of a cancer journey, utilizing a patient-centered approach that prioritizes emotional well-being and resilience.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Arizona.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to diagnose mental health issues in accordance with professional standards.
• Proficiency in developing culturally sensitive treatment plans and individualized care strategies.

• Previous experience working in oncology or a healthcare setting focused on chronic illnesses.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapies and intervention strategies specific to emotional well-being related to serious health conditions.
• Experience mentoring and providing supervision to interns and less experienced clinical staff.

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive salary with a generous signing bonus, flexible work schedules, and a commitment to your professional growth and well-being.
