• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through virtual consultations, allowing you to understand client needs from the very first session.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic techniques suited for different client circumstances.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using telecommunication tools, creating engaging and impactful therapeutic experiences.
• Monitor and document client progress throughout the course of treatment, adjusting plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to design and execute effective intervention strategies.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and their families to support them during the recovery journey and ensure continuity of care.
• Identify any behaviors or mental health issues that may hinder the recovery process and develop strategies to overcome these barriers.
• Assist clients in managing their mental health and behavioral challenges, providing education and resources to both them and their support networks.

In this role, you will serve a broad spectrum of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and other mental health challenges. Your expertise will guide clients from diverse backgrounds, each with unique experiences and needs. By tailoring approaches to resonate with various demographics, you will foster a healing environment conducive to recovery and growth.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Current and valid licensure in the state as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C.
• A strong understanding of mental health disorders and effective counseling techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary for effective therapeutic engagement.
• Proficient with electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to maintain accurate client records.
• Great interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding in all client interactions.

• Previous experience working as a mental health counselor, particularly in a remote or telehealth setting.
• Familiarity with addiction disorders and conditions affecting both physical and emotional health.
• Knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and standards.
• Experience in creating and managing recovery plans collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
