• Conduct individualized therapy sessions via video conferencing, ensuring a supportive and safe virtual environment for clients.
• Provide couples therapy to facilitate effective communication and resolve relational conflicts, employing techniques such as Emotionally Focused Therapy.
• Work with families to address complex dynamics, utilizing Family Systems Therapy to enhance understanding and promote harmony.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that align with each client's specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals, continually revising them as progress is made.
• Assess and diagnose mental health disorders through comprehensive evaluation methods, including clinical interviews and standardized assessment tools.
• Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals when necessary to ensure a holistic approach to treatment that encompasses both psychological and physical well-being.

As an LMFT at Gateway Psychotherapy Center, you will primarily work with a diverse client population, including adolescents, adults, and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and life transitions. • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Maryland.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with clients and collaboration with team members.
• Proven ability to work independently while also engaging collaboratively in a remote environment.

• Experience with specific therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Play Therapy is advantageous.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital health tools that enhance the therapeutic process is beneficial.
• Previous experience working in a community health setting or with vulnerable populations is preferred.
