The Barcino Counseling Center is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist, including LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C credential holders, to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. This position is fully remote, offering licensed therapists the flexibility to conduct sessions from their preferred environment while actively participating in a supportive team culture. • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to understand their mental health concerns, develop personalized treatment plans, and establish measurable therapeutic goals.
• Provide individual therapy using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and others tailored to address each client's unique challenges.
• Collaborate with clients to track their progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting therapeutic approaches based on their evolving needs and feedback.
• Utilize teletherapy platforms to offer virtual sessions, ensuring that clients who prefer or require remote treatment have equal access to mental health services.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards, ensuring that client records are up-to-date and secure.
• Engage consistently in continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay informed about emerging best practices in mental health therapy.

Our therapy services cater to a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. Whether dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, or other psychological concerns, our therapists leverage their expertise to provide support and effective therapeutic interventions for a wide array of situations.

• Current and valid licensure as a LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, LCSW-C, or holding a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is essential.
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are critical to establish and maintain a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach towards clients' experiences and challenges is necessary for effective therapy.
• Proficient organizational and time-management skills are essential for managing a varied caseload and associated administrative tasks.

• Experience working with a broad spectrum of mental health diagnoses and therapy modalities is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth technology and remote therapy practices will be a significant advantage.
