Who we’re looking for: 

The Marketing and Proposal Coordinator develops and prepares qualifications-based prime proposals and teaming materials, including generic Statements of Qualifications, and produces marketing materials as assigned by the Marketing Manager.

What you will be doing:          

Including but not limited to:

  • Prepares prime proposals: reviews RFP/RFQs, gathers and formats information, develops drafts, and obtains approvals
  • Prepares teaming materials: reviews RFP/RFQs, coordinates with other firm counterparts to prepare and format information to meet the request requirements; develops drafts, and obtains approvals
  • Determines prime proposal concept: identify risks and red flags, clarify opportunities and needs, and lead kick-off calls and strategy meetings as needed.
  • Meets deadlines for marketing deliverables as established by the Marketing Manager; participates in internal QA/QC process
  • Enter and monitor CRM, Microsoft Planner, and other tracking data.
  • Coordinate requirements with contributors and provide marketing deliverables status information to operations teams
  • Prepare presentations by evaluating text, graphics, and narrative in a way that enhances the company’s value proposition
  • Maintain quality results using templates; follow proposal-writing standards, including readability, consistency, and tone.
  • Maintains successful relationships with teaming partners and internal operations team leaders
  • Expand job knowledge by participating in internal and external educational opportunities and professional organizations
  • Contribute to organizational goals by accepting ownership of assignments and exploring opportunities to add value
  • Support the marketing department's initiatives involving planning, executing, and tracking marketing activities
  • Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice
  • Assist, as assigned, with developing content and social media marketing programs, including blogs and public relations efforts
  • Evaluate and monitor ongoing proposal performance by contributing key metrics (shortlists, wins/losses)

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred
  • Two years of experience in A/E/C marketing
  • Must be a team player comfortable working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Must have strong organizational and project management skills, including attention to detail
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Creative Cloud, including graphic design skills,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
  • Must be a self-starter who independently moves projects forward, prioritizes tasks, and meets deadlines
  • Prefer strong analytical skills to gather data, analyze metrics, and create reports
  • Must have a high level of creativity
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Must be willing to participate in and pass F&R’s pre-employment screening, including a background investigation, drug screening, and driving record.
