Holistic Recovery Counselling is actively looking for a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our behavioral health team. • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions using a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to each client’s needs.
• Perform assessments and provide counseling services for families and children who meet medical necessity under the DSM-V diagnostic criteria.
• Develop and lead psycho-educational groups, parenting programs, and other therapeutic classes designed to enhance client skills and understanding.
• Complete all necessary documentation such as client case materials, program forms, statistical data, and treatment plans in a timely manner.
• Engage with clients on a regular basis to track progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, ensuring adherence to best practices and contractual obligations.
• Meet and exceed the expectations for billable hours to fulfill organizational and funding requirements.

Our clinic serves a diverse client base, including individuals and families from various backgrounds facing mental health challenges. You will work with clients who may experience conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Understanding the unique cultural and socioeconomic factors affecting mental health in Santa Ana will be critical in providing effective and empathetic care.

• Must possess a completed Master's degree in Social Work (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), or Professional Clinical Counseling (LPCC), with relevant licensure in the state of California.
• Current licensed or associate status with the Board of Behavioral Sciences is required, or progress towards licensure must be documented.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client cases effectively.
• Self-motivated and proactive in managing your schedule, including documenting treatment hours and billing.

• A minimum of two years of experience working in a clinical counseling or therapy role is preferred.
• Prior experience working in a community health or integrated care setting is a plus.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for managing client documentation and billing.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and the ability to adapt approaches to meet diverse client needs.

This position offers an attractive salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
