As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing individual, couples, family, and group therapy using evidence-based practices tailored to the diverse needs of clients across different age ranges.
• Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the strengths and challenges of each client, collaboratively establishing their treatment goals.
• Developing personalized treatment plans that employ therapeutic modalities suited to the unique circumstances and preferences of clients, enhancing their journey toward recovery.
• Working closely with interdisciplinary teams and community partners to coordinate care effectively, ensuring clients receive well-rounded support.
• Maintaining meticulous and timely documentation of client progress and treatment interventions, adhering to ethical standards and regulatory requirements.

Your role will engage with a wide range of clients experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. You will support individuals, couples, and families, offering therapy options that meet their unique circumstances and help them thrive. To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• State licensure as a fully licensed mental health practitioner, with credentials as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Note: We do not accept limited or provisional licenses.
• A clean professional record, free from any disciplinary actions.
• Strong clinical skills for diagnosing and treating mental health disorders, along with exceptional decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, characterized by empathy, active listening, and a strong ability to build rapport with clients.
• Proficient in computer skills for documentation, virtual communication platforms, and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

While not mandatory, the following experience is highly valued:

• Previous experience in a community health setting or providing telehealth services.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Trauma-Informed Care.
• Experience working with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or families, is a plus.
