Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Virtual Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

  • Provide therapeutic services, including individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions, tailored to clients of all ages.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately gauge clients' strengths, challenges, and treatment objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate evidence-based treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community resources to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment interventions in compliance with organizational standards.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client base will encompass individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges. You will work with clients experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relational difficulties, and trauma. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding them through their healing processes and empowering them to develop coping strategies.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • Hold a Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Possess a full, independent license to practice—options include Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • No provisional licenses and no history of disciplinary actions are accepted.
  • Demonstrate strong professional evaluation skills and the ability to make sound treatment planning decisions.
  • Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach toward client interactions.
  • Proficiency in technology and the ability to navigate digital tools efficiently.
Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates who have:

  • Prior experience in teletherapy or remote counseling practices.
  • Experience working with a diverse range of clients and complex mental health issues.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions.
Compensation and Benefits
