This position is entirely remote, offering you the flexibility to design your own work schedule. We understand the importance of work-life balance, and as such, you will have the option to maintain a full-time role (30 hours or more per week) or a part-time role (5 hours or more per week). With a robust telehealth platform, you will connect with clients through secure video chat, ensuring their confidentiality and comfort. Our minimal paperwork requirement allows you to focus more on client interactions and less on administrative tasks.

As a Telehealth Mental Health Counselor, your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing ethical and compassionate mental health counseling via secure video chat, adapting your approach to meet each client's unique needs.
• Conducting comprehensive assessments to gather information on clients' mental health status, histories, and specific concerns.
• Developing tailored treatment plans that align with each client’s goals, drawing on evidence-based practices while also considering personal preferences and cultural context.
• Guiding clients in acquiring effective coping, problem-solving, and communication skills through structured therapeutic interventions.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and best practices in mental health documentation.

Your primary focus will be on stable, low-acuity adults seeking support for issues such as mild anxiety, stress management, relationship challenges, or transitional life events. The supportive nature of our practice encourages clients to engage in their therapeutic journey actively, facilitating lasting change while ensuring that they feel heard and validated.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Clinical Psychology.
• A current, independent state license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or PsyD) with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Strong interpersonal skills, technical acumen for using telehealth platforms, and a steady Wi-Fi connection for seamless client interactions.
• A commitment to ethical counseling practices and a willingness to stay current with mental health trends and developments.

Your experience in the field of mental health counseling, especially within a telehealth setting, will bolster your application. Familiarity with digital health tools and previous experience working with diverse client populations are added advantages that will enhance your candidacy.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on the hours worked. We provide:
