Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to accurately identify clients' mental health issues, formulate clinical diagnoses, and create effective treatment plans that align with the clients’ personal goals.
• Facilitate individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care techniques that best meet client needs.
• Provide timely crisis intervention to clients experiencing acute mental health crises or emergency situations, ensuring their safety and connecting them with appropriate resources for ongoing support.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and assessments, while adhering to ethical guidelines and legal statutes.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to integrate care strategies, ensuring that all facets of a client's well-being are addressed within their unique treatment plans.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health challenges, treatment options, and community resources, advocating effectively for their rights and needs to ensure holistic care.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training sessions, workshops, and professional networks to enhance clinical skills and stay informed about advancements in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population of clients, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds, age groups, and socioeconomic statuses. Our clients often face a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. Your ability to connect empathetically with clients and understand their unique life experiences is critical for fostering trust and facilitating their journey towards mental wellness.

Qualifications

• Active licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
• Master's or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
• Robust clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to conduct thorough evaluations and formulate treatment plans.
• A minimum of two years of related experience working in a mental health setting is mandatory.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to connect with clients and build lasting therapeutic relationships.
• Capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team focused on client care.
• A commitment to ethical practice and professionalism in all aspects of therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a community health clinic or similar environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with digital health tools and teletherapy platforms for effective remote service delivery.
• Experience in working within interdisciplinary teams, promoting integrated care initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range between USD 85,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance options, paid time off, and holiday pay. A sign-on bonus is included as part of your joining package.
