This position will be conducted in a remote setting, which allows for flexibility and accommodation for both counselors and clients. • Perform comprehensive assessments and screenings to thoroughly understand clients' mental health needs and to create tailored treatment plans.
• Engage clients in both individual and group therapy, applying evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions that align with best practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals—such as psychiatrists and case managers—ensuring that client care is holistic and integrated across various service domains.
• Facilitate psychoeducation sessions for clients and their families, fostering a supportive community around each client's healing journey.
• Document session notes and maintain client records in alignment with HIPAA and other regulatory standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.

The Mental Health Counselors at Vitality Family Care will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and other mental health issues. • A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A completed master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• A demonstrated history of advanced training or hands-on experience specifically in mental health counseling.
• A solid understanding and application of evidence-based practices tailored to various mental health challenges.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, showcasing the ability to build therapeutic relationships and motivate clients effectively.

• Experience in telehealth service provision, with a comfort level in navigating virtual counseling platforms.
