POSITION DESCRIPTION: 
Qcells New Homes is seeking a Sr. Project Coordinator to support and coordinate key project activities throughout the full lifecycle of new homes solar projects.  This role directly supports the New Homes Project Management team by maintaining accurate project details, organized documentation, and timely updates to ensure smooth project progression.   
This position may be based out of our Irvine, CA office or performed remotely, with any in-office expectations determined at the direct manager’s discretion in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead documentation oversight - collaborate with internal teams, installation partners, and builders to obtain, track, and validate all required project documentation across the full project lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage construction phase quality reviews - collect, organize, and conduct detailed quality reviews of project photos and documentation across all construction phases, identifying discrepancies, communicating discrepancies to stakeholders, and driving corrective actions. 
  • Track, consolidate, and communicate critical project updates to internal stakeholders to support on-time execution and proactive issue resolution. 
  • Provide ongoing administrative and coordination support to the New Homes Project Management Team. 
  • Oversee vendor work orders – prepare, issue, and validate work orders for third party vendors, ensuring scope accuracy, alignment, and timely delivery.  
  • Track and follow up on outstanding action items to keep projects moving forward to prevent bottlenecks. 
  • Maintain multi-system data integrity – ensure accurate, timely updates across CRM systems, third-party portals, and internal business tolls, maintaining high data quality standards.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives – Identify workflow gaps, recommend improvements, and contribute to the development of enhanced documentation practices and operational efficiencies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate or bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 4+ years of processional work experience including 2+ years of work experience in solar or new home construction. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills with keen attention to detail. 
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, project management tools, and online portals.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and partners.  
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a process-oriented mindset and the ability to develop long-term solutions. 
  • Proven ability to remain calm and effective under pressure while managing competing deadlines. 
  • High level of professionalism, accountability, and follow-through. 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Basic understanding of construction processes, documentation requirements, and financing procedures.
  • Prior experience supporting new home construction or construction management projects.
