Business Development Manager - Animal Health CMO (Technical Commercial Role)
(Wilmington, Delaware - Remote)
Salary - $110,000 - $145,000 + competitive bonus structure
Overview
A growing animal-health manufacturing organisation is seeking a Business Development Manager to support commercial growth across its contract manufacturing services for veterinary products.
This role is more technical and solutions-focused, working closely with customers and internal manufacturing teams to develop manufacturing partnerships and progress opportunities through the commercial pipeline.
The position sits alongside senior commercial leadership and plays a key role in technical sales, proposal development, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support business development activity across animal-health manufacturing services
  • Engage with customers to understand technical manufacturing requirements
  • Translate customer needs into manufacturing solutions
  • Support preparation of proposals, pricing models, and technical responses
  • Work closely with operations, quality, and regulatory teams
  • Maintain pipeline visibility and CRM updates
  • Participate in customer meetings and technical discussions

Requirements
