As a Telehealth Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to determine the mental health needs of clients.
• Developing personalized, person-centered recovery plans that address each client's unique challenges and goals.
• Implementing therapeutic interventions and continuously monitoring clients' progress and treatment needs.
• Facilitating sessions that help clients build crucial coping, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Evaluating and revamping individual service plans to meet evolving client needs.
• Acting as a liaison between clients and community services, educating them about available resources for additional support.

Your work will primarily focus on clients aged 18 and older, many of whom may have chronic mental health conditions that complicate their ability to achieve independence and stability in their lives. By employing effective communication techniques and utilizing your therapeutic skills, you will provide the necessary support for clients struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and severe mood disorders. To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current and valid state license, such as:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Licensed Psychologist (PsyD)
• The ability to practice independently without supervision.
• A clean license with no disciplinary actions.
• A solid understanding of mental health issues and the associated treatment methodologies.
• Proficient computer skills, with access to a reliable internet connection and good connectivity for effective virtual sessions.

Successful candidates will ideally have:

• Prior experience in providing direct clinical services focused on mental health counseling.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, showcasing empathy, patience, and sensitivity toward clients' needs.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital client engagement strategies.
