Job description

Rampart Aviation is currently hiring a Second in Command Pilot near Pinal Airpark, Marana AZ.
Our team is currently in the process of selecting a Pilot as SIC. Experience in multi-engine turbine aircraft is desired.
At KMZJ, you will be challenged at times to work effectively with your crew to lift our customers safely, and efficiently to their jump altitudes, and then return to the same airport ready for the next lift. You could perform as many as 16 lifts in a day, seven days a week, starting early (often 2am to 1pm) and fly 100 hours per month during the busiest months. Slow months provide ample time-off.
BASIC FUNCTION SUMMARY
  • Perform Second In Command duties for Rampart flight operations.
  • The position is currently based in the Tucson, AZ area.
  • This is a CONUS based position. However, short term deployments may be required.
  • Flight operations are conducted under Part 135 and 91.
  • All duties will be performed in accordance with Company Operations Manuals, Military Operations Procedures, and the Federal Aviation Regulations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must hold the following Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Pilot Ratings:
  • Commercial or ATP Multi-engine Land
  • CFI, CFII, MEI is desirable
  • Valid First Class Medical

Preferred Minimum Flight Experience
  • 1000 hours Total Time
  • 500 hours Multi-Engine
  • CASA 212, DHC-4, and/ or DHC-6 experience is preferred

Other Qualifications
  • Must have valid US Passport.
  • Valid US Driver's License.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a Top-Secret Clearance - TS Personal Security Clearance strongly desired

Physical Demands: Climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, extensive walking and working in tiring uncomfortable positions. May require lifting of objects whose weight may exceed 50 pounds. Special vision abilities required to perform this job are close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.
Work Environment: The diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, to an environment where inclement weather may subject individual to severe changes of temperature, wind, rain, etc. Travel to austere and inhospitable high stress environments will be required. May be required to work in areas where high noise hazards prevail. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. May be exposed to electrical shock hazards.
