Job description

We are in search of talented and experienced individual Tax Reviewers for the upcoming 2027 tax season. The Tax Reviewer will review complicated individual tax returns prepared by junior level staff, as well as provide feedback and guidance. The Tax Reviewer may also compile and present training materials to others in the department.

This position does not involve client contact.**Remote work environment and a competitive hourly rate** What you will do: Utilizes departmental systems and software to review tax returns prepared by junior staff using CCH Axcess. Ensures completeness and accuracy of tax returns by referring to prior year tax documents. Follows all federal, state and local tax laws and perform research when necessary

Escalates complex tax issues to manager for counsel when appropriate. Utilizes practice management software for workflow and client billing. Provides guidance and training to tax preparers on new and/or complicated tax topics.

Attends department meetings through Microsoft Teams.
