Job description

We are hiring anAgile Delivery Manageron our Application Servicesteam at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee!

In this role, you will serve as a strategic Agile leader responsible for driving Agile maturity, delivery consistency, and continuous improvement across approximately 10 technology teams supporting critical enterprise platforms and services. You will partner closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, engineers, and leadership to improve planning, prioritization, and execution while ensuring teams remain aligned to shared organizational objectives. This position coaches teams on Agile best practices, serving as a key leader across an organization of approximately 70 technology professionals. You will influence delivery strategy, facilitate quarterly planning, improve backlog quality, and help leaders gain visibility into delivery progress and organizational outcomes. Your work will directly impact teams that provide foundational services used across the enterprise.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring deep expertise in Agile methodologies and demonstrated experience coaching Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and technical teams through organizational change. The ideal candidate can influence without formal authority, translate complex technical initiatives into actionable work, and help elevate delivery practices across a large, multi-team technology organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience serving in an Agile leadership role

  • Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe practices

  • Experience facilitating quarterly planning, backlog refinement, stakeholder alignment, delivery metrics, and Agile reporting through Azure DevOps.

  • Demonstrated experience coaching Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and delivery teams in Agile best practices

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to assess requirements for completeness, accuracy, and implementation readiness

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, business partners, and senior leadership

  • Agile/Scrum Master Certifications are a plus but not required
