  • Research and connect clients with community resources such as food assistance, childcare, and healthcare services that can enhance their overall well-being.
  • Respond effectively to crisis situations, including child abuse cases and mental health emergencies, employing established protocols to ensure client safety.
  • Monitor ongoing case management, following up on client situations to confirm improvements and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities to promote recovery and resilience.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals navigating substance use disorders and other mental health challenges. A significant portion of our clientele includes Veterans and community members experiencing socioeconomic hardships. Your expertise will be pivotal in addressing the unique and complex needs of these individuals, fostering their pathways to recovery.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate program is mandatory.
  • A California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential is required for this role.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a behavioral health setting is necessary to ensure you bring the right expertise to our clients.
  • Proficient in conducting psychosocial assessments, case management evaluations, and crisis intervention strategies, including suicide assessments and forensic designations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and clinical skills in providing individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
  • A basic understanding of local community resources to support clients’ recovery and health.
Preferred Experience
  • Direct experience working with Veterans, understanding the unique challenges and barriers they face in mental health and recovery.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and related workflow methodologies to ensure effective remote service delivery.
