We are on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our clinical team at Scripps Health Recovery. This full-time remote position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Scripps Health Recovery, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing therapeutic assessments and developing personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Conducting individual and group therapy sessions for clients, primarily focusing on adult and adolescent populations.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapy techniques to foster client engagement and facilitate positive behavioral changes.
• Documenting progress notes and maintaining accurate client records in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational policies.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate care and share valuable insights into patient progress.
• Staying current with best practices in mental health treatment and participating in ongoing professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists work with a diverse clientele that includes adults, adolescents, and their families, addressing various mental health needs such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will encounter individuals from different backgrounds and with unique challenges, making your role both rewarding and dynamic. Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist in California.
• A minimum of two years of proven experience providing counseling and therapy services to a diverse range of clients.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, combined with a client-centered approach to care.

Preferred Experience

Experience in telehealth practices and familiarity with digital healthcare platforms is highly desirable, as we utilize the latest technology to provide our services remotely. Furthermore, prior work with at-risk populations or experience in providing culturally competent mental health services will be an added advantage.
