The Project Manager plays a key role in guiding Laserfiche customers through successful implementation projects. This role focuses on building strong client partnerships, applying proven project management methodologies, and delivering high‑quality outcomes across multiple concurrent engagements. Location:
Eligible States for Remote Work: Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Ohio, Virginia, Washington DC, West Virginia and Wisconsin
  • Hybrid: Three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) in office in Long Beach, CA.
  • Remote work from home on Mondays and Fridays.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
 
About the Role - Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Lead the pursuit of implementation services for assigned clients
  • Implementation, scoping and estimating
  • Build client relationships
  • Manage project issues/risks and client expectations and escalate as needed
  • Assist in pre-sales activities for implementation services
  • Assist in building best practices and benchmarks from completed projects
  • Understanding in Business processes and system architecture
  • Requesting appropriate resource skills required for the projects
  • Manage 3-5 clients at any given time
 
Project Planning
 
  • Provide a framework for project planning, communications, reporting and contract management
  • Establish documentation and procedural standards for Deliverable Materials
    Prepare the initial plan and assist the customer project manager to develop appropriate level of detail
  • Work with the customer project manager to address and resolve deviations from the project plan
    Support the development of project strategies for testing, training and knowledge transfer
Project Management
 
  • Administer the project change control procedure with the customer project manager
  • Coordinate and manage the technical activities of all Laserfiche resources
  • Manage progress against milestones / deliverables
  • Establish issue management procedures and assist in managing project issues and risks with customer project manager
  • Monitor and control Laserfiche project budget
  • Establish and manage internal quality assurance process
  • Work with the customer project manager to determine project team training requirements
  • Develop and manage knowledge transfer strategy and plan
  • Integrate with product development to address product related issues, performance tuning, etc.
 
Communication and Status Reporting
 
Conduct regularly scheduled project status meetings (Laserfiche and customer)
Prepare and submit status reports to the customer project manager
Develop materials and facilitate Gate reviews and Steering Committee meetings
 
About You - Essential Qualifications:
 
  • Based in Long Beach, CA or nearby
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Participated in multiple full lifecycle software implementations
  • Independent thinking with keen problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules and multiple work plans
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn new software quickly
 
The salary range varies, and pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, certifications (if applicable), candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills and years of experience amongst other factors. 
 
Salary range: $78,000 - $148,000
