As a Remote School Counselor based in Valdosta, Georgia, you will work within a fully remote setting, which allows for complete adaptability in your work-life balance. You will engage with national clients through secure video platforms, making therapy accessible and convenient.

• Conduct individual counseling sessions via video chat, focusing on enhancing clients' mental health and emotional well-being.
• Create a safe and supportive environment for clients to discuss their emotions, experiences, and challenges, helping them gain insights into their personal and interpersonal dynamics.
• Act as an advocate for clients, assisting them in defining realistic and attainable goals for their mental health journeys.

In your role, you will focus on a diverse client population comprising stable adults who present with low acuity mental health concerns. Clients are pre-screened, and you will be matched with individuals who align with your specialties and demographic preferences, optimizing your effectiveness as a counselor.

• Possession of a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• A current and unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) that permits independent practice without supervision.
• No history of disciplinary actions or limitations on license.
• Strong ability to make professional assessments and recommendations towards treatment planning and implementation.
