Job description

Solution Architect (CLM)
We are looking for a Solution Architect, CLM to help us support our continued growth. The Solution Architect is responsible for owning the overall design of our contract lifecycle management and revenue technical solutions, as well as recommending best practice solutions based on client needs. They provide technical guidance for the development of Conga CLM, DocuSign CLM, Salesforce Contracts, and integrated Salesforce Revenue Cloud applications to support cross-functional legal, procurement, and sales strategies.
A Solution Architect facilitates discovery sessions to understand complex legal and sales workflows, translating those challenges into robust technical requirements supported by a documented solution design. They provide thoughtful leadership and communication to project and client team members in order to build the foundation as a trusted partner.
Role Responsibilities:
  • Enterprise CLM Architecture: Responsible for designing end-to-end solutions that leverage Conga CLM, DocuSign CLM, and Salesforce Contracts, ensuring seamless integration between legal workflows and sales revenue processes.
  • Technical Documentation: Delivers technical and non-technical documentation for assigned projects, including relevant architecture diagrams (data models, template generation logic, approval workflows, and integration architecture).
  • Solution Oversight: Responsible for overall solution design, build task development, estimating effort to complete build tasks, and oversight of reporting/dashboard creation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • AppExchange & Customization Strategy: Expertly navigates the difference between declarative and programmatic development, determining when to leverage native Salesforce Contract capabilities versus extended partner applications (Conga, DocuSign) to meet specific legal and business compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on Configuration: Demonstrates the ability to perform advanced CLM administration, template provisioning (clause libraries, dynamic tables), workflow automation, and data migration duties as needed.
  • Pre-Sales Support: Act as a solution Subject Matter Expert (SME), working with Delivery leadership and Account Executives to accurately scope complex CLM sales proposals.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with Project Managers to encourage a collaborative environment with delivery and customer project teams, bridging the gap between Legal, IT, and Sales stakeholders.
  • Mentorship & Growth: Seeks opportunities to develop professional and technical skills, while providing guidance and support to team members for technical and professional growth.
  • Certifications: Achieves and maintains necessary Salesforce technical certifications and core CLM partner certifications.

Experience/Skills Required:
  • Legal & Contractual Acumen: Applied understanding of contract management from a legal perspective, including familiarity with corporate legal operations, contract structures (MSAs, NDAs, SOWs), clause inheritance, redlining practices, and digital signature compliance.
  • CLM Platform Expertise: 2+ years of hands-on architecture and implementation experience specifically with Conga CLM, DocuSign CLM, and/or Salesforce Contracts (Industries/OmniStudio framework).
  • Salesforce Analysis: 4-6 years of advanced skills in Salesforce Platform Business Analysis and exposure to Project Scoping.
  • Core Competencies: Demonstrate strong competencies around the core Salesforce.com platform, specifically Sales Cloud and its interaction with contract objects
  • Required Certifications: Active Salesforce Administrator certification and at least one core CLM partner credential (e.g., Conga Certified CLM Architect or DocuSign CLM Consultant) required. Minimum 4x Salesforce certified preferred (CPQ Specialist or Revenue Cloud Consultant a major plus).
  • Technical Design: Ability to create entity-relationship and object-relationship diagrams to demonstrate complex contract data models and clause-to-template relationships.
  • SDLC Knowledge: Previous experience with software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile, or Hybrid methodologies preferred.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven experience being client-facing and acting as a project leader capable of managing multiple distinct stakeholders (specifically bridging corporate legal teams and sales operations).
  • Must have full-time permanent US work authorization.

Additional Preferred Experience/Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred (Degrees in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a Pre-Law/Legal Studies background are a plus).
  • Travel, as required by client or project milestones.
  • Demonstrates a basic level of knowledge of common enterprise ERP or procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Coupa) that interface with CLM platforms.
