About Diffit:
Diffit helps teachers create quality instructional resources for all learners. We make tools that save teachers time, support diverse learning needs, and help every student access grade-level material.
Diffit is one of the best-loved and fastest-growing AI products in K-12, trusted by educators and school systems around the world to make high-quality instruction more accessible and sustainable.
Role Overview:
In this role, you'll focus on helping school partners get started with Diffit, drive meaningful adoption, and secure renewals. You'll combine relationship-building with clear follow-through at scale, helping schools see ongoing value in Diffit throughout the year.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting customers at scale, using technology to work smarter not harder, and helping partnerships grow while centering impact
You'll support hundreds of schools, which means proactive outreach, follow-up calls, and emails in a scaled way - as well as individual outreach. You'll be responsible for customer health goals and account renewals.
Responsibilities:
Partner Engagement & Usage
  • Stay close to school partners to support ongoing use of Diffit.
  • Help schools reach early milestones that set the foundation for long-term adoption.
  • Proactively check in around usage patterns, and find opportunities to increase impact.
  • Respond to partner questions and needs with clarity, empathy, and follow-through.

Renewals
  • Own renewals for your book of accounts - track timelines and usage signals, surface at-risk partners early, and drive them to a renewal decision.
  • Identify schools who may be at risk and take steps to re-engage them.
  • Keep records, notes, and renewal status accurate and up to date.

Collaboration, Systems & Feedback
  • Contribute to shared resources, playbooks, and processes that improve partner success at scale.
  • Share insights with internal teams to help improve Diffit.

Who You Are:
  • Former classroom teacher - secondary preferred - who has differentiated instruction for diverse learners, including EL and SPED students.
  • Clear communicator: You can express yourself exceptionally well through verbal and written communication and you're a great listener.
  • Organized and reliable: You can manage a large volume of relationships and follow-ups while staying consistent and attentive to detail.
  • Persistent: You're diligent and tenacious, and you're comfortable putting in the steady, hands-on work needed to solve problems and achieve your goals.
  • Curious: You're eager to learn and ask questions so you can understand how things work and how to make them better.
  • Analytical: You like to analyze data, find patterns, and develop a plan of action.
  • Collaborative: You're eager to collaborate with and learn from others, share your ideas, and you welcome feedback.
  • Empathetic: You are skilled at connecting with and listening closely to teachers and administrators in order to learn how we can best serve them.

Preferred:
  • Former instructional coach or teacher-leader
  • Experience owning renewals or managing a high-volume book of accounts (edtech a plus)
  • Comfortable in a small startup environment - resourceful, experimental, and capable of building playbooks from scratch.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Google Suite, Slack and AI productivity tools

Success in This Role Looks Like:
  • Partner schools consistently use Diffit in meaningful ways.
  • Usage remains strong and grows over time.
  • Accounts renew at a high rate.
  • At-risk schools are identified early and re-engaged effectively.
  • Partner schools feel supported, valued, and confident continuing their partnership with Diffit.

What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary, equity and benefits package.
  • Fully remote work environment with occasional in-person offsites.
  • The opportunity to work on a meaningful product that impacts the future of education.
  • Collaborative and supportive team culture.
  • $70,000-$100,000 On Target Earnings (OTE) plus equity and benefits

About the Hiring Process:
We might make some adjustments, but our basic interview process will include:
  • 30 minute call with the hiring manager for this role
  • Brief take home exercise asking you to draft customer emails.
  • 45 minute working session with two of our team members
  • 2 hrs team interviews - all done in one day where you get a chance to meet with cross-functional team members and get a sense of who you will be working with.
