What will your day look like?
You will be responsible for defining the overall technical structure of a client project. Your job will be to identify client requirements by researching and analysing their needs. This involves studying the concept, strategy, and vision for the project.
More specifically, you will create user scenarios, prepare data models, design information structure, workflows as well as work out technical specifications and test methods. You will also create implementation plans and estimates for new and existing clients.
Doing this, your tasks include:
  • Implementing the architecture in corporation with the project team, using agile methodologies like Scrum
  • Delivery of Salesforce Marketing Cloud projects
  • Working out which solution to use based on cost-benefit analysis and research
  • Explaining to designers and developers what's required and overseeing the progress
  • Providing feedback, summary, and information about your projects, agreeing plans with the client and breaking down large-scale projects into manageable chunks.

What do you bring to the table?
As a person, you are outgoing, self-motivated, and ambitious; yet you are a helpful team-player that contributes positively to the working environment. Since you will be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, it's essential that you understand all aspects of each system, from both a business and technical point of view. In other words, you know how to turn business requirements into technical solutions. This means having an extensive knowledge of technologies such as SQL, XML, JSON, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS as well as knowledge of one or more programming languages.
In addition, you have:
  • 5+ years of experience as a salesforce marketing cloud architect or technical consultant, preferably at an agency within digital sales and/or marketing solutions
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce marketing cloud
  • Working with client-based projects and know how to service clients, including handling deadlines within agreed budget
  • Experience in Workflow Engines as well as a great understanding of and ability to design database design and modeling
  • Ability to explain complex technical solutions with clients
