Job description

Company: Trophy Point
Position: Sales Support Specialist
Location: Remote-US
Status Type: Full-time
Website: https://trophypointcapital.com

Position Overview: Trophy Point Lending is seeking an organized and proactive Sales Support Specialist to provide dedicated support to one of our Loan Officers. The goal of this role is to help the Loan Officer spend more time developing relationships, structuring deals, and closing loans.
The Sales Support Specialist will help manage the Loan Officer's day-to-day pipeline, respond to borrowers and referral partners, prepare loan proposals and term sheets, maintain accurate CRM information, and make sure leads and follow-ups do not fall through the cracks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day sales and administrative support to the Loan Officer.
  • Help manage the Loan Officer's pipeline, priorities, and follow-up activity.
  • Prepare and send term sheets, proposals, program information, and other borrower-facing materials.
  • Maintain accurate lead, borrower, broker, and opportunity information in the CRM.
  • Respond to borrower and broker inquiries by phone and email and assist with routine questions.
  • Gather basic information on new loan opportunities and help the Loan Officer determine next steps.
  • Follow up with new leads, active prospects, past borrowers, brokers, and referral partners.
  • Provide phone and email coverage when the Loan Officer is in meetings, traveling, or otherwise unavailable, responding to routine inquiries and ensuring time-sensitive opportunities receive prompt attention.
  • Schedule borrower calls, partner meetings, and other sales-related appointments.
  • Maintain and distribute current rate sheets, program information, and sales materials.
  • Help onboard and support new broker and referral relationships.
  • Track outstanding items and keep deals moving toward application.
  • Assist with pipeline and sales activity reporting.
  • Coordinate with loan operations when a new application is ready to move into processing.
  • Assist with conferences, partner events, and other sales initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:
Requirements:
  • 1–2+ years of experience in sales support, administrative support, customer service, or a related role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow-ups without losing track of details.
  • Comfortable communicating directly with borrowers and business partners.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Proactive, responsive, and willing to take ownership of day-to-day tasks.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in real estate, mortgage, private lending, or financial services.
  • Experience supporting a salesperson, Loan Officer, or other high-producing professional.
  • Familiarity with CRM and pipeline management.
  • Basic understanding of lending terminology and loan products.

What Success Looks Like
Success in this role means the Loan Officer is able to spend more time selling and less time on administrative work. Leads receive fast responses. Follow-ups happen when they should. The pipeline and CRM are organized and accurate. Borrowers and referral partners receive timely communication. And when a deal is ready to move forward, the handoff to loan operations is clean.
