This role partners closely with product and sales teams to articulate product capabilities, consult on solutions, and align offerings with customer needs. Combining the skills of a consultant, coach, and project manager, the Sales Engineer drives new revenue by supporting solution selling for prospective clients and collaborating with operational and technical teams to plan, prepare, and execute strategic opportunities across the sales cycle.

What You'll Do:

  • Work with sales leadership to identify high-value opportunities for Sales Engineer support; communicate with sales team to understand consumer demands and offer sales support where necessary
  • Collaborate with sales team(s) and clients on deal progression, expectations, trial accounts, statement of works, and post-sale transition for identified high-value opportunities to accelerate closing, execution & revenue realization
  • Collaborate with Product Management/Marketing to collect competitor information, conduct industry analysis and identify market trends
  • Provide ongoing solution consulting support including training and nurturing of key strategic accounts to encourage further adoption and product usage
  • Prepare and give technical presentations to explain and demonstrate products and/or services beneficial to client business; gather information, understand business requirements, and identify ways to best implement solutions to optimize client business/technical needs
  • Build knowledge of industry and technology trends that impact the marketplace
  • Build clear implementation plans, in collaboration with customers, account executives/sales, and operations, to drive accountability and revenue realization
  • Develop content focused learning to broaden knowledge within internal teams
  • Prepare materials and conduct various forums to improve client engagements that develop into successful solutions
  • May assist with requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs)

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Experience in the banking and financial services industry preferred
  • Previous experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively with sales, product development team and the customer
  • Proven track record managing cross functional projects
  • Understanding of market and competition with the ability to identify external threats and opportunities
  • Consultative skill and creativity to engage customers in new ways
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; presentation skills and ability to convey product value

Pay Range: $85,000.00 - $113,300.00 AnnuallyThis hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
