Work Environment

This position is fully remote, providing you with the flexibility to manage your schedule while maintaining work-life balance. Our community health clinic is dedicated to fostering a collaborative work atmosphere, even in a remote setting. Your work schedule will primarily be Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to understand their unique backgrounds, psychological needs, and recovery goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring they align with evidence-based practices to facilitate effective recovery.
  • Deliver individual counseling sessions using established therapeutic techniques, including motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy, tailored to the client's specific circumstances.
  • Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions to foster community and peer support among individuals in recovery.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and other healthcare professionals to offer comprehensive and coordinated care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist in California.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of substance use disorders, recovery-oriented care, and evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Prior experience in delivering individual and group therapy within addiction treatment settings.
