We seek professional, motivated Sign language interpreters to provide Pre-Scheduled and On-Demand Remote interpretation through our innovative FaceTok platform. While on FaceTok, you can help deliver vital interpretation services whenever you have a free schedule. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated interpreters who want to make the most of their spare time by taking On-Demand Video Remote Interpretation calls. FaceTok is a platform where you can utilize your skills and also provides a chance to earn passive income whenever you have a free schedule.
To ensure confidentiality standards, all remote interpreters must work from a secure, HIPAA-compliant environment. A HIPAA-compliant environment is a secure space where no one may overhear confidential information being discussed and is free of distractions.
We currently have prescheduled timeslots available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time Zone (EST), Monday through Sunday.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position and does not include benefits.

Job Functions:
  • Provide effective interpreting sessions in a professional manner.
  • Adhere to interpreter ethical standards and procedural requirements specific to interpreting context.
  • Demonstrate commitment to cultural sensitivity and working in a diverse environment.
  • Respect for and understanding of our deaf and hard-of-hearing clients, culture, and preferences.
  • Strong aptitude and passion for customer service and interpreting.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor throughout the sessions.
  • Render exact and correct concepts and meanings according to interpreter protocol.
Qualifications:
  • Interpreter must possess fluent American Sign Language and spoken English language skills.
  • Excellent listening and retention to maintain high accuracy during interpretation.
  • Extensive knowledge RID Code of Professional Conduct
  • Must possess one of the CI/CT, NAD IV or above, NIC, BEI national certifications
