Bright Tomorrow Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work remotely while providing essential mental health services to individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression and anxiety-related challenges. At Bright Tomorrow Counseling Center, located in Brockton, Massachusetts, we are a leading community health clinic known for delivering comprehensive mental health care to a diverse range of clients. Our practice is committed to providing effective and compassionate therapeutic support in an outpatient setting. We emphasize a collaborative approach in our work, integrating various therapeutic modalities and ensuring every client receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs.

This role offers a remote work environment, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a robust support network through our clinic's infrastructure. Although primarily remote, you will be connected with an engaged team of professionals, continually collaborating to ensure you have the resources necessary to support our clients effectively. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend hours on a rotational basis.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms, including their severity, frequency, and duration.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focused on achievable goals that promote recovery and resilience.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to assist clients in managing their mood disorders.
• Offer educational resources and ongoing support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
• Continuously monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as needed to ensure effective outcomes.
• Partner with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and provide a holistic treatment experience.
• Stay informed of the latest research in the field of mental health to enhance treatment approaches and professional practice.
• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment processes to comply with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing to a collaborative atmosphere that fosters ongoing professional development and skill enhancement.
• Actively promote the de-stigmatization of mood disorders and advocate for clients’ mental health needs within the community.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Our diverse patient population reflects a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and life experiences, offering you the chance to engage with a rich variety of clients. Your expertise will help support the mental wellness of those striving to overcome the challenges they face on their journey to healing.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and collaborative capabilities with medical professionals.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients from a variety of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.

While two years of post-licensure clinical experience specializing in mood disorders is preferred, we highly value candidates showcasing a proven track record of success in providing mental health treatment and positive client outcomes.
