Position Overview

Bright Tomorrow Counseling Center is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled mental health counselor to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis. This remote position allows for flexibility while providing essential services to patients facing mental health challenges, particularly mood disorders. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting in-depth assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorders, understanding their symptoms, severity, and history.
  • Crafting individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the personal needs and recovery goals of each client.
  • Implementing therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in individual sessions.
  • Educating clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to foster understanding and cooperation.
  • Monitoring client progress by tracking mood and behavioral changes, and adjusting treatment plans proactively to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
  • Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure clients receive comprehensive and holistic mental health care.
  • Maintaining meticulous and confidential documentation according to HIPAA standards, including clients’ treatment plans and progress notes.
  • Participating in regular team meetings and case consultations to share insights and enhance collective practices in mood disorder treatments.
  • Acting as an advocate for mental health awareness, promoting de-stigmatization, and supporting clients in navigating social and healthcare barriers.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with individuals diagnosed with mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will be instrumental in providing psychologically informed care that aims to improve patients’ functional outcomes and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
  • A strong foundation in therapeutic techniques, particularly those effective for mood disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive therapeutic relationships with clients.
Preferred Experience

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with:

  • At least two years of post-licensure experience specializing in treating mood disorders.
  • Proficiency in popular treatment modalities such as CBT and DBT, with a focus on evidenced-based practices.
  • Knowledge of psychopharmacology to collaboratively assist clients receiving medication management.
  • A proven record of successful patient outcomes in clinical settings addressing mood-related issues.
Compensation and Benefits

Bright Tomorrow Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, in addition to a sign-on bonus. Our robust benefits package includes:
