Position Summary
The Plan Support Consultant partners with employers and internal teams to manage plan-level service and administrative requests using a consultative approach. This role is responsible for researching, coordinating, and executing plan changes with a high degree of accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
The Plan Support Consultant serves as a key connection point between clients, internal departments, and system workflows. Success in this role requires strong ownership, attention to detail, effective prioritization, and clear communication to ensure accurate plan records and successful outcomes for existing clients.
As assigned, the Plan Support Consultant may also support plan design consultations for Stand Alone Plans and spinoff plans, partnering with employers and internal teams to gather, validate, and document plan design decisions for setup or amendment processing.
Essential Functions
• Process plan-level service and administrative requests for existing clients, including drafting and executing plan amendments.
• Conduct consultations with employers regarding new plan design and plan amendments, documenting decisions, dependencies, and required information.
• Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance, and submit finalized requests through designated workflows.
• Maintain complete and accurate plan records, tracking documentation, and status updates.
• Serve as a point of contact for employer and internal partner inquiries, providing clear communication, follow-up, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure accurate, on-time execution of requests.
• Track work in progress, proactively identify risks or delays, and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Participate in training, documentation, and process improvement initiatives to enhance workflows and service practices.
