Shift: Shift 1/8:00:00 AM to 4:30:00 PM
Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $30.27 - $40.86 / hour
Summary
Lee Health has a full time opportunity for an RN with Perioperative experience in the Pre-op, PACU or Pre-Anesthesia Evaluation Center to ensure our patients are prepared for an exceptional surgical experience.
This position will be remote once onsite training is complete and clinical competency has been determined. The RN must live within Lee, Collier and Charlotte County to be able to be onsite if needed on short notice.
Responsible for providing an excellent patient experience while delivering and documenting safe patient care through utilization of the nursing process in collaboration with the physician, practice leadership and other care team members. Provides oversight and coordination of nursing care delivered in the practice setting or telephonically, ensuring the care delivered is effective, efficient and achieves desired patient outcomes. responsible for supporting and guiding the care team in collaboration with the practice and physician leadership based on treatment plan, established clinical nursing practice standards subscribed to by American Nursing Association and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act and other regulatory standards. Demonstrates proficient utilization of available tools and resources which supports the unlicensed and licensed clinical staff including but not limited to: educating, mentoring, competency validation and evaluating. Contributes to the provision of quality care in the office setting through excellence in customer service and utilization of performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care. This position has the knowledge, experience, interpersonal skills and behaviors appropriate to serve as a resource for internal and external customers regarding patient care.
Requirements
Education Requirements: Associate's degree from accredited school of professional nursing required; Bachelors' preferred.
Experience Requirements: Office/outpatient experience preferred. Experience requirements may vary by department. Please reference the Nursing Addendums for department specific requirements.
Certification Requirements: Certification in Ambulatory Nursing preferred. Certification requirements may vary by department. Please reference the Nursing Addendums for department specific requirements. Specialty Areas: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
