• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of patients and develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific mental health needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, using a solution-focused approach to promote emotional healing and coping strategies.
• Create and maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment response, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care effectively.
• Engage in case consultations and peer review meetings to foster quality improvement and enhance service delivery.
• Provide educational resources and supportive counseling to patients and their families, empowering them with knowledge about mental health and coping mechanisms.
• Stay informed on the latest developments in mental health practices, incorporating relevant research findings into your practice to improve patient outcomes.

As an LCSW in our Hospice Center, you will be working with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing life-limiting illnesses and their families. The focus will be on providing emotional and psychological support, ensuring comfort, dignity, and quality of life during end-of-life care. Your role will be crucial in helping clients navigate their emotional landscapes and facilitate peaceful transitions.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Florida is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field is essential; however, a Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is preferred.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a similar setting, focusing on psychotherapy and grief counseling.
• Strong proficiency in solution-based and evidence-based interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, alongside strong problem-solving capabilities.
• A collaborative mindset, capable of thriving in a remote team environment while being self-motivated and organized.

While a minimum of 2 years in a clinical social work capacity is required, we prefer candidates with a background in hospice or palliative care settings. Experience working with marginalized populations or in a community-oriented environment is also advantageous, as is familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
