As an LCSW at Harmony Family Support, you will take on meaningful responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to identify the psychological, emotional, and social needs of patients and their families. You will develop personalized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices and patient goals.

• Implementing therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to the unique requirements and preferences of each client.

• Maintaining diligent clinical documentation and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations. Your attention to detail will be vital in tracking patient progress and treatment outcomes.

• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including physicians, nurses, and other mental health professionals, to offer coordinated care that addresses the holistic needs of each patient.

• Participating in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance clinical skills and contribute to the ongoing improvement of service delivery.

• Providing education and resources to patients and their families, empowering them to navigate mental health challenges and make informed decisions regarding their care.

• Staying current with developments in the mental health field, integrating new insights into your clinical practice to improve patient outcomes.

You will be working primarily with terminally ill patients and their families, addressing the emotional and psychological challenges that arise during end-of-life care. Understanding the unique nature of hospice work, including grief counseling and palliative support, is essential for successfully aiding clients through complex emotional landscapes. Your role will be critical in helping clients cope with loss, manage anxiety, and achieve a sense of peace during difficult transitions.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, demonstrating your strong academic foundation in social work principles.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Tennessee, reflecting your professional qualifications.

• At least 3 years of experience in a clinical setting where you have provided psychotherapy services, showcasing your ability to handle diverse patient needs.

• Proficiency in solution-based therapeutic modalities, ensuring you can effectively facilitate meaningful change in clients’ lives.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, allowing you to navigate complex emotional situations with clarity.

While not mandatory, candidates with experience working in hospice, palliative care, or with patients facing significant loss will have an added advantage. Familiarity with telehealth practices and tools will also be beneficial in adapting to our remote work setting.

Harmony Family Support offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
