• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to analyze clients' mental health conditions and identify strengths, challenges, and areas of intervention.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, customizing therapeutic interventions based on each client’s unique needs, background, and circumstances.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and family systems therapy to promote healing and change.
• Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to formulate and implement comprehensive treatment plans based on client goals.
• Administer crisis intervention services, which include conducting risk assessments and developing safety plans tailored to individual client experiences.
• Advocate for clients’ rights and connect them with pertinent community resources to aid in their recovery journey.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives aimed at raising mental health awareness and reducing stigma surrounding mental health challenges.

You will work closely with a diverse population of individuals recovering from substance use disorders, often addressing co-occurring mental health issues. This role empowers you to provide compassionate support, therapy, and resources to clients in a critical stage of their recovery, positively impacting their mental health and rehabilitation journey.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills to foster effective client relationships.
• In-depth knowledge of cultural competence, allowing for sensitive and appropriate service delivery to clients from varied backgrounds.

• Previous experience working in a community mental health setting or detox facility.
• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic practices.
• Familiarity with case management processes and community resource navigation.
